used hard & soft cover books in many categories! From best selling authors & titles, including cookbooks, art, history, biography, sports, fiction/non-fiction,
plus lots and lots of children's books!
Proceeds from each book sold will support the animals in our care!

$25 donation at the door includes a drink of choice, appetizers and
a custom Sexy Black coffee mug. (while supplies last)
Since Sexy Blackʼs launch in 2009, Virtually Homeʼs mission to raise awareness has gained fast growing momentum! Last year, attendance at Sexy Black continued to grow, as over 150 animal lovers came out in tribute to black cats and dogs. Itʼs a poorly known fact that black cats and dogs have the lowest adoption rates and the highest euthanasia rates. The reasons are unclear, and these bleak facts leave us mystified. (We love our black cats!). But across the board, black cats and dogs are statistically less likely to be adopted than their more brightly colored compatriots. Many animal rescue organizations are forced to ignore these animals because they are so difficult to place with already limited resources. Itʼs a vicious cycle that results in the needless destruction of many black animals. Virtually Home is determined to make their plight public. In doing so, we hope to help more of them find their forever homes.
