Virtually Home is dedicated to improving the lives of animals in Chicago through rescue, adoption and education of their human companions. Virtually Home is comprised of a network of dedicated rescuers, volunteers and foster homes. Together we work under a unified mission and fight for the lives of homeless animals in Chicago.

Virtually Home's set up is unique in the fact that all of our animals available for adoption are currently living in foster homes. Foster homes make a great scenario for potential adopters to meet & mingle with our furry friends. A casual, home-like setting brings out the best in our animals for adoption and helps adopters get a true sense of the personality and characteristics of the animal in consideration.

Virtually Home was founded on the belief that every individual bears responsibility to care for and protect the creatures with whom we share our world. Every individual has the power to make a difference in an animal’s life. It is Virtually Home's unique mission to provide the tools and direction necessary to empower every indiviual willing to step up and help an animal in need. In turn, Virtually Home relies on the help of others who, like ourselves, desire to honor their personal commitment to animals.   By working together, greater good can be accomplished on their behalf.
